ANTIPLAGIUM

The scientific journal Sapiendus is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic and scientific integrity. This anti-plagiarism policy aims to ensure that all published articles are original and do not infringe the copyrights of third parties. The policy applies to all manuscripts submitted for consideration in Sapiendus.

In addition, the journal allows a maximum of 25% of content matches with previously published sources. This percentage refers to matches detected through specialized plagiarism detection software, currently Sapiendus handles Ithenticate as a match review tool.

Editorial Decision:

    • If the matches are legitimate (due citation and attribution), the manuscript will follow its normal course in the review process.
    • If plagiarism or self-plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be automatically rejected, and the author will be notified. Depending on the severity, additional measures may be taken, such as a temporary or permanent ban on future manuscript submissions.

Correction and Resubmission: In cases where overlapping content can be corrected by appropriate citations, authors will be invited to make the necessary corrections and resubmit the manuscript within a specified time frame.
