- Assignment of Publication Rights
By submitting a manuscript for consideration to Sapiendus, authors agree to assign publication rights to the journal in the event that the manuscript is accepted. This assignment of rights includes, but is not limited to, the rights of reproduction, distribution, translation, and public communication in any format or medium, whether print or digital, throughout the world.
2. Copyright Retained by the Authors
Despite assigning publication rights to Sapiendus magazine, the authors retain the following rights:
- Right of Attribution: Authors have the right to be recognized as the original creators of the work.
- Personal and Academic Use: Authors may use their article in their own academic work, in presentations, in their theses or dissertations, and share electronic copies of the article with colleagues for academic purposes.
- Deposit in Repositories: Authors have the right to deposit a copy of the final published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, provided that it is indicated that the work was originally published in the journal Sapiendus and a link to the official version in the journal is included.
3. Commercial Exploitation
Commercial exploitation of the content published in Sapiendus is the sole responsibility of the journal. Any commercial use of the content by third parties requires prior written authorization from Sapiendus.
